Hi, I’m Viviana.

Infographic with four sections: Behavior, Nutrition/Education, Gut & Wellness, and Communication, each with icons and brief explanatory text about behavior support, nutrition's impact on behavior, gut-brain connection, and communication for connection building.

My goal is to help families understand the “why” behind behavior so they can make informed decisions that support their child’s development.

I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and founder of the Whole Child Blueprint. I help families understand behavior through the lenses of development , communication, nutrition, the nervous system, and the gut-brain connection - using evidence-informed education while staying within my professional scope.

Why I created Whole Child Blueprint

My story

A young child in yellow shorts with turtle patterns is crouching on wet sand at the beach during sunset. The child appears to be playing or digging in the sand, with their back to the camera. The ocean waves are gently coming ashore, and there are people in the distance enjoying the sunset, some standing and some playing in the water.

When my son was little, he struggled with severe eczema. We were repeatedly told it was "just a skin condition" and that our focus should be on managing the symptoms.

As both a mother and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I couldn't stop wondering why. I wanted to understand what might be contributing to what I was seeing rather than only treating what appeared on the surface.

That curiosity led me into the world of nutrition, gut health, environmental factors, sleep, and the growing body of research exploring how different body systems can influence overall health and development.

Over time, working closely with healthcare providers and making carefully considered changes, we saw remarkable improvements in his skin and because of that, his eczema is no longer the daily struggle it once was.

That experience changed me.

It reminded me that symptoms often deserve thoughtful investigation and that looking at the whole child can sometimes reveal important pieces of the puzzle.

As I learned more, I realized the same principle applied beyond skin.

Whether a child is struggling with behavior, sleep, communication, feeding, or other challenges, asking “WHAT COULD BE CONTRIBUTING TO THIS?” can open the door to new conversations and more individualized support.

Because every child deserves to be understood as a whole. ❤️

Whole Child Blueprint was created because I wanted other parents to have a place where behavior, development, nutrition, gut health, sleep, and overall wellness are discussed together through evidence-informed education—not as isolated topics.

As a BCBA, I remain within my professional scope. I DO NOT to diagnose or prescribe treatment. I help parents ask better questions, understand the research, connect the dots, and collaborate with the appropriate healthcare professionals when needed.

I combine evidence-based behavior principles with a functional, whole-child lens to support real, individualized solutions that help children feel better, function better, and truly thrive—inside and out.
