PROFESSIONAL SCOPE & OUR STANDARDS
Looking Beyond Behavior with Integrity
At Whole Child Blueprint™, our mission is simple:
To provide parents with evidence-informed educational resources that help them better understand their child’s development while encouraging thoughtful collaboration with qualified professionals.
We believe every child deserves to be viewed as a whole person—not simply through one behavior, one diagnosis, or one challenge.
Our Philosophy
Children are wonderfully complex.
Behavior does not happen in isolation.
A child’s communication, sleep, nutrition, digestion, sensory experiences, routines, environment, and overall health can all influence how they learn, interact, and respond to the world around them.
Our goal is to help parents organize observations, recognize meaningful patterns, and feel more confident asking informed questions.
We believe education empowers families.
What We Do
Whole Child Blueprint provides educational resources designed to help parents better understand child development and organize information in a practical way.
Our resources may include:

• Printable planners and trackers
• Educational articles
• Research summaries
• Parent education materials
• Personalized Whole Child Blueprints
• Evidence-informed learning resources
Our materials are intended to support—not replace—the important work of your child’s healthcare and therapy providers.
What We Do Not Do
Whole Child Blueprint does not provide:

Our educational resources should never be used as a substitute for individualized evaluation or treatment by qualified professionals.
My Professional Background
Whole Child Blueprint was created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with experience supporting children and families through evidence-based behavioral principles.
My background in behavior analysis influences the way I organize information, identify patterns, and develop educational resources.
However, this website is not an ABA therapy practice.
The educational information provided here is separate from any clinical services that may be provided through other professional settings.
Our Whole Child Framework
Every resource we create is guided by one central question:
“What else might be contributing to what we’re seeing?”
Rather than focusing on behavior alone, we encourage parents to thoughtfully consider multiple areas of development, including:
🧠 Behavior
💬 Communication
🥗 Nutrition
🦠 Digestion & Gut Health
😴 Sleep
🧩 Sensory Processing
🚶 Motor Development
❤️ Overall Health & Wellness
Looking across these areas can help families recognize patterns that may otherwise go unnoticed.
Our Commitment to Evidence-Informed Education
Whole Child Blueprint is committed to providing educational content that is grounded in current scientific literature whenever reasonably possible.
When discussing research, we strive to:
• Present information accurately.
• Use parent-friendly language.
• Reference reputable scientific sources.
• Acknowledge that scientific understanding evolves over time.
• Distinguish between established evidence, emerging research, and educational discussion.
Research is intended to inform—not replace—clinical judgment.
Collaboration Matters
We believe the best outcomes occur when families and professionals work together.
Depending on your child’s individual needs, collaboration may include:
• Pediatricians
• Medical specialists
• Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Speech-Language Pathologists
• Occupational Therapists
• Physical Therapists
• Registered Dietitians
• Licensed Mental Health Professionals
• Teachers
• Early Intervention providers
• Other qualified professionals
Whole Child Blueprint encourages open communication and collaborative decision-making.
Personalized Whole Child Blueprints
Our Personalized Whole Child Blueprints are educational summaries created using information voluntarily provided by parents
Each Blueprint is intended to:
• Organize observations.
• Highlight patterns.
• Provide educational context.
• Offer evidence-informed learning resources.
• Encourage informed conversations with qualified professionals.
Blueprints are not diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, medical opinions, or individualized therapy recommendations.
